Isolated Frequency
A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

On a frequency no one listens to, someone is calling me.
A first-person psychological horror adventure about a shut-in, a shortwave radio, and the Morse code that starts arriving from somewhere that shouldn't exist. You learn real Morse code as you play — no prior knowledge needed.
Free demo (Days 1–6, about an hour): download it for Windows / Linux from the demo page, or use the demo downloads below. The full game (12 days, 2–3 hours, three endings) is a Windows / Linux download.

Your days are small: the desk, the bed, the boarded-up window, a forum thread nobody reads. Then you pick up the old shortwave radio on the desk and start decoding the practice station — one letter at a time.
A few nights later, above 100 MHz, there is a sound that is not a broadcast and not static. It pulses. Inside it, someone is sending numbers.
The numbers are the coordinates of your room.

Tune. Drag the dial through static until a signal locks. The mystery frequency moves every night — you have to find it again.
Listen and decode. Hear the dots and dashes, write them down, look them up on the chart, type the word. Short messages at first. Then orders.

Build what they send you. Parts fall out of the air after every decoded message. Fit them together in the right order and the thing on the floor becomes a receiver — a screen that says ENTER KEY CODE.

Read the packets. Decode a 3-letter code on the radio, type it into the receiver, and a long message prints out. Someone on the other side is running a test. You are the test.

Talk to the only people who answer. Post about it on a paranormal board. Read the replies. Watch them turn.
Decide who to believe. Not everything on that frequency wants the same thing. You can refuse. That has consequences too.

Isolated Frequency is built to teach Morse from zero. Everything a beginner needs is in the radio:
- An always-available Morse chart (Tab)
- Speed slider (6–25 WPM) and unlimited replays — stop a signal mid-way with one press
- Letter-by-letter playback: hear one character, write it, hear the next — or replay just the letter you missed
- Live dot/dash recording as the signal plays (Beginner), or tap it yourself on a straight key or paddle (Advanced), or no recording at all (Expert)
- Character-count hints, partial-answer feedback, and a practice station with endless random words
- Auto-decode accessibility mode if you just want the story
By the end you will read short words by ear. It sneaks up on you.

- Beginner / Advanced / Expert change only how you record the signal — the story is the same.
- Most of the mystery is optional: the things in your room remember why you stopped going outside, other people's posts on the board fit together into something bigger, and there is a frequency no objective will ever point you to.
- Three endings. One of them you have to go looking for.

- Demo (free): Days 1–6 · Windows, Linux · every Morse learning feature · ends on your decision — build it, or refuse
- Full game: Days 1–12 + branches · Windows, Linux · three endings · autosave every night
- Demo saves don't carry over — the full game starts from Day 1 with its own save.
Content warning: psychological horror and dread, online harassment (in-game forum comments), medication, an animal test subject that does not survive, a firearm, implied death. No jump-scare spam — the horror is slow and mostly in your head.

Controls — WASD / Arrows move · Mouse look · E / Left click interact · Tab Morse chart · Space (Advanced) Morse key, tap for dot, hold for dash · Shift (paddle) dash · Backspace erase last symbol · Esc pause / turn off radio
Requirements — Windows 10/11 64-bit or Linux x86_64 · a Vulkan-capable GPU for the full lighting (older GPUs fall back to OpenGL 3.3 with a simpler look; three quality presets) · 8 GB RAM · 2 GB disk (full-resolution textures)
Download notes — the Windows build is unsigned, so SmartScreen may warn (More info → Run anyway). On Linux, chmod +x IsolatedFrequency.x86_64 if needed. Saves: %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\Isolated Frequency (Windows) / ~/.local/share/godot/app_userdata/Isolated Frequency (Linux).

Story and Morse update (1.4.1): The twelve-day mystery builds through more carefully placed clues and consequences. Morse speed and practice progress more steadily, with less variation in randomized message length. 초반 단서의 배치와 후반 사건의 여파를 다듬고, 모스 속도와 연습의 난이도를 단계적으로 높이면서 무작위 문장의 길이 편차를 줄였습니다.
